LIFE'S A BEACH :An elegant, peaceful retreat awaits you in this beautifully appointed beach house. The three bedrooms, two bath vacation rental sits in an unusually quiet residential area with access to all of the area's most popular attractions: It is located three blocks from Twin Lakes Beach (with lifeguards and fire pits) and half a mile from the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor . It's just five minutes from the Boardwalk amusement park, Capitola Village , and lively downtown Santa Cruz ; ten minutes from redwood forests with miles of hiking and biking trails; a 40-minute drive from Monterey Bay Aquarium; and a 35-minute drive from the San Jose Airport . Sleeps up to 8 people.

Kitchen: This comfortable, beautifully decorated house includes a fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner Viking gas stove and oven, finished concrete counters, and upscale appliances - everything you need to entertain at home. Counter seating for two, and the table seats 6 comfortably.

Living Room: The large living room area is next to the kitchen. The downstairs has finished concrete floors with radiant heating, as well as a cozy gas burning fireplace. Enjoy cable TV with a DVD and VHS tape player, and a stereo with a CD changer. The front door is just to the right of this picture |

Living are and back yard: The fenced in backyard has a private hot tub, you can relax under the star, as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining and BBQ. |

Twin Lakes State Beach: One of the best beaches in the Santa Cruz area is about three blocks away. It's close enough to make access quick and easy, but just far enough away to avoid the crowds. There is even a wagon provided with sun chairs and toys to make your beach vacation complete. Linens and towels provided. During the summer months there are lifeguards on duty, just bring your swimsuits and enjoy!

Office/Loft: If you have to bring your work with you, the upstairs loft/office offers high-speed DSL, an Apple computer, and fax machine.

Master Bedroom: The master bedroom has a king size bed, cable TV, and a small private garden area. The master bath has two sinks, and a beautiful limestone counter. The bath is equipped with Jacuzzi jets, and there is a large walk in closet |

Upstairs Guest Bedroom: The second bedroom has a comfy queen size bed, TV with a VCR, DVD player, and its own private balcony. The second bathroom is located just down the hall. On a quiet day you can hear the surf. |

Upstairs Guest bedroom: The third bedroom is on the back side of the house. It has two twin beds and two trundle beds. This bedroom has a small walk in closet, and a private balcony. This room also has its own TV with VHS and a DVD player. Schwann lagoon can be seen through the trees in the distance. |

Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor: One of the many local attractions is the Yacht Harbor ; it is nice 10 minute stroll from the house. Enjoy a wonderful dinner at the Crow's Nest, or take the water taxi and enjoy breakfast at Aldo's on the water. All you have to do is show up and relax.

This is a Non-Smoking Property, Absolutely No Parties. So much to do! Hiking, Biking, Santa Cruz Boardwalk is 5 minutes away, Beautiful Twin Lakes Beach is just an easy 3 block stroll, Deep Sea Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, the Schwann Lagoon is in your Backyard, Shopping in both Santa Cruz as well as the charming town of Capitola , both just minutes away. Excellent selection of Restaurants, including the Crows Nest which is easy walking distance from the house. Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, Swimming, Boating, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing. Absolutely no parties or smoking in the house |
