History:
In 1906 a retired ship captain fell in love with this property
and named it “A Pelican’s Beak”. Being an avid gardener he proceeded
to plant unusual trees from around the world, a Ginkgo from China,
Cedars from the north coast, and lovely Maples from the east.
Rock walls, paths and the always present sound of the ocean create
a tranquil sanctuary of peace. To our ship captain, “A Pelican’s
Beak” was his haven of relaxation. |
